Overview
In this multi-part exercise, you will use the Backup/Restore feature-set to take a backup of an EKS cluster running a test workload and restore that backup onto a separate cluster to see that the workload is restored and running as it was on the source cluster. The backups of both the control plane and persistent volumes will be stored in a Amazon S3 bucket.
The Backup/Restore feature-set can be used for both disaster recovery and workload migration scenarios.
