Kubernetes Versions¶
The following versions of Kubernetes are currently supported.
New Clusters¶
New clusters can be provisioned using the following Kubernetes versions.
Important
Versions identified as deprecated will transition to not supported imminently. Customers are strongly recommended to upgrade their clusters to a supported version to ensure they continue to receive patches and security updates.

Operating Systems¶
Here is the list of supported operating systems for the nodes.
- Ubuntu 20.0.4 LTS (64-bit)
- RHEL 8.x (64-bit)
vSphere Version¶
Make sure you have the following prerequisites in order to deploy a Kubernetes cluster in a VMware environment:
- vSphere version 6.7u3 or higher.
- A vSphere Standard or higher license.
