Onboard End User

In this step, as an administrator, you will invite an end-user by adding them to our project in your Rafay Org. You can select from one of the four available roles for end users (i.e. developer, data engineer, data scientist, Researcher).

This will give the user access to the self service workflows via the Developer Hub portal in the Rafay Platform.

Overall Steps

Create New User

You can skip this step if you have already added this user to the Org.

  • Login as the Org Admin and click on System-> Users
  • Click on new user
  • Enter user's email address, first name and last name
  • Save and exit

Assign Role to User

In the users listing page, search for the user's email address and click on the Edit icon

  • Click on Projects and click on "Assign User to Project"
  • Enter the name of the newly created project (e.g. gpu-paas) and select it from the dropdown selector
  • Select the "Data Scientist" role from the list and save/exit

Select Role

When the end user logs into the Rafay Platform, they will have access to the Developer Hub. Let's review this user experience in the next part.
