Overview

In this self-paced exercise, you will learn how to configure, deploy and test "Network Visibility & Policy". This solution deploys Cilium CNI in chaining mode. With Cilium chaining, the base network connectivity and IP address management is managed by the non-Cilium CNI plugin, but Cilium attaches eBPF programs to provide network visibility and policy enforcement.

What Will You Do by Part

Part What will you do?
1 Configure Blueprint and deploy it to the cluster
2 Deploy test applications and view the network traffic flows
3 Configure a policy for namespace isolation
4 Enable Self-service for application teams via RBAC controls

Assumptions

You have already provisioned or imported a microk8s or EKS Kubernetes cluster using the controller.
